Erie Town Hall (Lincoln School)
The 1906 Lincoln School, a school until 1966 and Town Hall since 1998, with the Coal Miners' Memorial on its lawn.
The Town’s offices occupy the 1906 Lincoln School on Holbrook Street, a two-storey brick schoolhouse that taught Erie’s children until 1966 and was renovated as Town Hall in 1998. Town Council meets in the chambers on the second and fourth Tuesdays and the Planning Commission on the first and third Wednesdays. On the lawn is the Coal Miners’ Memorial, dedicated in 2000, with a bronze miner and the names of more than 500 men who worked the Erie and Northern Coalfield mines.
