Wise Homestead Museum
The Erie Historical Society's 1870 farmhouse museum on Jasper Road, one of the oldest frame houses in Boulder County; Saturdays 10–2, May to September, or by appointment.
Oliver and Adaline Wise came from Wisconsin in 1869, patented the land in 1870 and built the Western Victorian farmhouse that the Erie Historical Society opened as a museum in 2007, one of the oldest frame houses in Boulder County. Open Saturdays 10 to 2 from May through September and by appointment the rest of the year; the Society also runs Biscuit Day in spring and A Homestead Christmas in December.
